Search Queries
A name or location entered into a search box is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider handles the query and supplies its results. We do not keep or log those search terms on our systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
When you email us, we retain the message as needed to respond. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our servers receive routine technical details when a page loads, including:
- Page-view dates and times
- Your device's assigned IP address

- Pages viewed and the time spent on them
- The referring site, when one is provided

No Criminal-Record Data on File
We do not host, compile, maintain, or sell a database of personal criminal records. The site identifies official routes to Phelps County records held by the Sheriff's Office, County Court, District Court, Nebraska State Patrol Criminal Identification Division, and Nebraska Sex Offender Registry. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party criminal record profiles.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search tools. Their privacy policies, retention rules, and disclosure practices govern data submitted through those boxes. We do not control those choices. Read the provider's policy before entering a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Phelps County government, Nebraska courts, state agencies, legal resources, or outside search services. Once you follow a link, the destination's privacy policy applies. Review it before providing personal information.
Advertising providers may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and select targeted ads.

Personal data is not sold. It may be disclosed to:
